NIC Components New Product: NKC Series 32.768KHz Crystal Units

(Melville, NY: April 19, 2017) – NIC Components Corp., a leader in passive component technologies, is pleased to announce a new category and new series release of 32.768Khz crystal units NKC series.

NIC’s has started its lineup of timing devices with 32.768Khz focus as the standard in timekeeping and synchronization within electronic equipment. Case sizes available include 0805 (2.0 x 1.2 mm) and 1206 (3.5 x 1.5). Frequency tolerances are available in ±10PPM and ±20PPM.

Load capacitance options for each size are available down to 6.0pF with an operating temperature range of -40°C ~ +85°C.

The NKC Series meets PB-Free reflow conditions up to 260°C and is RoHS Compliant without exemptions, halogen free and REACH SVHC 173 compliant.

Together with NIC’s full focus lineup of performance passives the NKC series is a natural fit into major electrical devices, from mobile & wearables to audio/video applications.
